February Members Webinar Posted in the Archives: Digital Audio Recorders

The February 2012 Webinar - held just yesterday - is up and in the archives, ready for your to review.  - in this session Chet Davis facilitated a session where we discuss the use of external audio recorders with your Casablanca video editor. 

In particular Chet focused on the use of the Zoom H4n digital recorder and provided tips for success in your Casablanca video projects. Other members who participated also mentioned a few other manufacturer's models.

And thanks to Casablanca colleague Syl Renaud of Reno Video Productions who shared his work-flow for audio sync during this lesson.... Ron Brookman also shared his work-flow using the Vegas HD PC software and it's easy time-stretch capabilities.

Free Casablanca How-to and Tips Webinars yields 49 Tips for Viewers

I had a great time yesterday presenting my two free webinars in honor of the 3rd Anniversary of the Casablanca Expert website and community! 

My goal was to share 12 tips in each of the two hour sessions.  I was able to demonstrate 19 tips in the morning session and 30 tips in the evening!

Thanks to all who joined me for these special on-line classes - the recordings from the events should be posted by this weekend, and you will be receiving an email with the link to the recordings to re-view at your convenience.

Website members will also be able to access these streaming video 1-hour lessons in the members archives - link will be posted on the Members Home Page.

To celebrate the 3rd Anniversary of the Casablanca Expert website and community, Chet Davis is hosting this special webinar chock full of tips for the Casablanca video editor. You can register below and you'll see Chet's Casablanca screen on your computer!

Using HDSLR Cameras With Your Casablanca - Webinar tomorrow

Reminder that tomorrow (Thursday, December 15) is the 2nd part of our 2-part session with Syl Renaud of Reno Video Productions.

Join Your Casablanca Expert and Sylvain Renaud of Reno Video Productions for this 2-part on-line class where you'll learn the fundamentals of producing video with HDSLR cameras - the digital cameras that capture both high resolution stills and HD video.

Syl has first-hand experience on the topic of video and film-making using HDSLRs, having used them for the past two years in his successful company. He has transitioned from 'traditional' video cameras to productions entirely built around HDSLRs.

Of particular value to this group, Syl will share his work-flow and tips for using the Casablanca video editor (running Bogart OS) with HDSLR cameras.

This session will be divided into two parts - the first session will focus on the technology of HDSLRs, giving those who are used to shooting on a video camcorder an understanding of the gear involved and how to address differences and limitations.

The 2nd session (2nd Thursday) will go more depth into using an HDSLR or multiple HDSLR cameras in event videography.  Syl will present how he approaches a shoot and also walk us through the tips for successfully using your Casablanca video editor with the files from an HDSLR camera.
